As per the U.S. Coast Guard, it is presumed that the entire crew of five individuals who were on board the Titan submersible have perished. Additionally, the wreckage found in the designated search region is indicative of a severe and sudden collapse.
Officials have stated that the wreckage was discovered near the front of the submerged Titanic.
According to reports, the quest to locate the Titan, which disappeared on Sunday while on a mission to examine the remains of the Titanic, had been concentrated in a region where Canadian aircrafts had identified “subaquatic sounds” on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
According to officials from the U.S. Coast Guard, it was estimated that the five passengers on board the missing vessel may exhaust their air supply at around 7:10 a.m. ET today. Despite an intensified search effort, the whereabouts of the vessel has remained unknown.
