Wemade and LG Forge Web3 Gaming Partnership

Veteran Korean game studio Wemade is breaking new ground by bringing blockchain-based games from its WEMIX PLAY platform to LG’s global smart TV and monitor lineup. This pioneer launch marks the first time that games built on blockchain technology will be playable on LG devices.

The initial titles that LG owners will be able to enjoy are Anipang Match, a casual puzzle game developed by Wemade subsidiary Wemade Play, and Every Farm, a relaxing farming simulator from sister studio Wemade Connect. These games represent just a sample of the diverse array of over 35 blockchain games across genres from action to RPG to sports that are hosted on WEMIX PLAY.

With millions of users globally, WEMIX PLAY stands as the world’s largest blockchain gaming ecosystem. The integration with LG’s webOS smart TV operating system, which powers over 200 million devices worldwide, signals meaningful momentum for Wemade’s vision of an expansive blockchain mega-ecosystem.

Moreover, this launch kicks off a collaborative effort between Wemade and LG to enrich the game experience on LG products. From this foundation, the two companies plan to build deeper integrations and customize offerings for LG screen owners.

As an early innovator in both Korean online and mobile gaming, Wemade is leaning into its pioneer spirit again. This time, Wemade is at the forefront of the burgeoning Web3 gaming wave that is tapping into blockchain’s potential to transform gaming. The landing of WEMIX PLAY titles on LG screens represents a symbolic step toward mainstream adoption.
