Binance Bans 600 Accounts for Exploiting Alpha Program with Bot Farms

Binance Wallet has taken decisive action against the misuse of its platform, permanently banning 600 accounts for systematically exploiting the Binance Alpha rewards program. The accounts were identified as part of coordinated bot farms designed to harvest rewards and airdrops through automated means, violating the platform’s terms of service. This move underscores the exchange’s ongoing efforts to maintain fairness and integrity within its ecosystem.

The Binance Alpha program is designed to reward genuine user engagement and participation in the Web3 ecosystem. The banned accounts used automated scripts to simulate human activity, aiming to illegitimately accumulate points that could be converted into token rewards. A Binance spokesperson stated that such activities “distort the purpose of community programs and create an unfair environment for our legitimate users.”

This enforcement action is part of a broader trend of major crypto platforms strengthening their security and compliance measures. By proactively identifying and removing malicious actors, Binance aims to protect its community and ensure that incentive programs benefit real users. The incident serves as a reminder that while blockchain offers new opportunities, platforms must remain vigilant against sophisticated forms of exploitation.
