Avail Airdropping 600M Tokens to Web3 Contributors Across Multiple Blockchains

Web3 infrastructure platform Avail is airdropping a massive 600 million of its native AVAIL tokens to contributors across various blockchain ecosystems. The “Unification Drop” aims to bring together communities from networks like Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, Avalanche, and many others.

The airdrop recipients include developers, testnet users, rollup participants on chains like Arbitrum, Polygon stakers, and community members. The tokens will be used for accessing Avail’s scaling services, staking, and governance participation.

Out of the 600 million total, 90 million AVAIL is allocated to blockchain developers, 380 million to rollup users, 70 million to Polygon stakers, and smaller amounts to other groups. Over 354,000 wallet addresses will receive the airdropped tokens when Avail launches its mainnet.

Avail, which was spun out of Polygon recently, provides infrastructure for scaling blockchains through roll-up technology, cross-chain asset transfers, and liquid staking capabilities. Its mission is to unify Web3 across multiple blockchain layers and ecosystems.

The airdrop has been welcomed by the Polygon community as a way to incentivize and bring together the diverse array of projects and contributors building the decentralized web.
