A renowned developer on Twitter and GitHub, @dhrvu who previously worked at Google as a software engineer and is now a thriving entrepreneur, has decided to pause his work on Bitcoin and venture into another startup opportunity.
A well-known contributor to Bitcoin Core, which is the main open-source software utilized for connecting to the most extensive blockchain in the world, Dhruvkaran Mehta, has announced that he will be taking a break from the project. This decision comes as he redirects his attention towards a new startup idea that is related to Bitcoin.
The Bitcoin Core project is an open-source initiative that depends on contributions from its supporters, grants, and stipends to operate smoothly.
Mehta was a volunteer who received compensation for his work, with funding provided by Spiral, a company that is part of Block, which is owned by Jack Dorsey and specializes in financing Bitcoin development. In addition, Mehta’s work was also supported by the Human Rights Foundation and Gemini, a cryptocurrency exchange founded by the Winklevoss twins.
