Xumm and Uphold Partner for Zero-Fee XRP Transactions

Xumm, a popular self-custodial wallet application for the XRP ledger, has announced an exciting new collaboration with Uphold. Together, they will be facilitating a 0% fee promotion for transactions made through Uphold’s Topper service on Xumm.

Starting on October 30, 2023, and lasting for 48 hours PST, users of Xumm will be able to utilize Topper to purchase XRP and other XRPL-supported assets without paying any fees. This provides an excellent fiat on-ramp option, especially for users in the United States and Canada where buying crypto directly can be challenging.

By focusing on achieving high conversion rates for transactions, Xumm aims to ensure users have a smooth experience purchasing assets through Topper, without the frustration of failed transactions. This integration with Uphold is just the latest addition to Xumm’s growing list of services and partnerships designed to provide versatility and convenience to its users.

With a sizable user base of over 600,000 active users globally, Xumm has established itself as a leading platform in the XRP community. The addition of Topper and the ability to access new regions and users could potentially drive significant growth for Xumm. Other recently added services include integration with over 100 other payment methods through partners like SimpleSwap and GateHub.

The news of this promotion and integration with Uphold led to an increase in trading activity around XRP. The price rose to $0.5667, up 2.22% over the last 24 hours. Trading volumes also spiked by 84.09% to $998.41 million, demonstrating positive market interest in Xumm’s continued expansion.

By providing easy and zero-fee access to XRP for new users, this collaboration helps strengthen Xumm’s position while also benefiting the larger XRP ecosystem. Xumm’s innovations continue to make the process of purchasing and transacting with XRP more seamless.
