Steve Aoki Teams With Stepn For Limited NFT Sneaker Collection

Electronic musician Steve Aoki has collaborated with the mobile crypto game Stepn to launch a limited collection of digital sneaker NFTs. The partnership combines Aoki’s entertainment profile with Stepn’s web3 move-to-earn model.

The collection includes 300 NFTs in four designs – Walker, Jogger, Runner, Trainer – to be sold via the MOOAR marketplace. An additional 60 will go to Aoki’s fan community. When linked to phones via Stepn, the NFTs allow users to earn crypto rewards for physical activity.

This aligns with Aoki’s existing NFT membership club A0K1VERSE. It highlights the potential for NFT utility beyond just digital art, into areas like gaming, memberships, and metaverse applications.

Aoki said the collaboration brings the metaverse and real-world closer. Stepn COO Shiti Manghani said it shows innovation in the crypto industry.

NFT projects like A0K1VERSE and Stepn’s upcoming game Gas Hero indicate how creators are building broader connections between digital assets, real-world benefits, and community engagement.

The Steve Aoki x Stepn sneaker NFT drop exemplifies this trend. It leverages Aoki’s celebrity profile while expanding Stepn’s move-to-earn model. As NFTs spread across sectors, collaborations like this demonstrate new use cases.
