Cardano-Based Forensic Management System Launches in India

Blockchain product studio Trivolve Tech has partnered with no-code platform Quixy to launch a Forensic Management System on the Cardano mainnet, targeting forensic evidence management for state governments across India. The platform became operational on the Cardano blockchain and processed more than 1,000 transactions during its initial three-day period, demonstrating functional capacity for managing forensic evidence workflows. Uttar Pradesh serves as the pilot state for the system, which aims to address evidence handling challenges in a state that processes over one million forensic cases annually. The blockchain-based architecture provides immutable record-keeping, tamper-proof data storage, and comprehensive audit trails designed to enhance evidence credibility in legal proceedings.

Trivolve Tech CEO Rahul Konudula projects the system will process at least 10,000 transactions within its first month on Cardano’s mainnet, positioning the platform as a potential national standard for secure forensic evidence management across India’s law enforcement and judiciary systems. The implementation leverages Cardano’s blockchain infrastructure to ensure that forensic evidence documentation remains permanently recorded and verifiable, addressing longstanding concerns about evidence tampering and chain-of-custody documentation in criminal investigations. By creating immutable digital records of evidence handling, the system aims to strengthen prosecutorial cases and reduce disputes over evidence authenticity that can compromise legal proceedings.

Quixy brings enterprise automation capabilities to the partnership, operating as India’s leading no-code/low-code platform with over 200,000 users and 26,000 deployed applications across industries including defense and law enforcement. The company’s workflow automation expertise enables the Forensic Management System to integrate with existing government processes while maintaining user-friendly interfaces that don’t require extensive technical training for law enforcement personnel. Trivolve Tech specializes in blockchain and artificial intelligence solutions for government and enterprise clients, focusing on applications that enhance security, transparency, and operational efficiency through distributed ledger technology.

The deployment represents a significant real-world application of public blockchain infrastructure for government operations, demonstrating how distributed ledger technology can address specific institutional challenges in evidence management and judicial processes. Success in Uttar Pradesh could accelerate adoption across additional Indian states and potentially influence forensic evidence management approaches in other jurisdictions facing similar chain-of-custody and evidence integrity challenges. However, sustained success will depend on user adoption among law enforcement agencies, integration with existing legal frameworks, system reliability under high transaction volumes, and demonstrated improvements in case outcomes attributable to enhanced evidence documentation. The project illustrates growing government interest in blockchain applications beyond cryptocurrency, focusing on practical governance improvements through immutable record-keeping and transparent audit capabilities.
