The Barcelona-based collective of over 100 artists, activists, educators, and journalists has created Bitcoin street art in cities like London, Berlin, Prague, and more, aiming to critique the financial system and promote crypto’s potential.
Co-founder “Street”, says bypassing mainstream media controlled by powerful interests is crucial. The group’s goal is advancing a fairer world, with Bitcoin and street art working symbiotically toward that vision. Works highlight messages like “Buy Bitcoin, Defund the State” and “Bitcoin Makes War Unaffordable.”
Specific pieces convey how Bitcoin could reduce state power, make education more accessible by optimizing limited resources, and prevent financing endless wars. Others feature Bitcoin’s logo with pop culture icons.
Beyond the political motives, Street Cy₿er is also working to spark broader crypto curiosity and learning. Their recent “Bitcoin: The Art of Revolution” project in Barcelona offers workshops, classes, and exhibits about the technology.
