Kronos Attempts Negotiation to Recoup $25M Hack Losses

The cryptocurrency trading and investment company Kronos Research, based in Taipei, has extended an offer to negotiate with the hacker who stole $25 million from the firm in mid-November.

Kronos stated in a message that if the hacker returns 90% of the stolen funds, visible on Etherscan, they will drop the matter.

Last week, Kronos reported on [social media platform] that an unauthorized person gained access to their API keys and stole $25 million, mostly in stablecoins. Blockchain analysts later verified the losses.

While the stolen amount was sizable, Kronos reassured that they remain financially stable and that all losses will be covered internally without affecting partners.

Public negotiations between hackers and their victims have grown more common lately. Recently, after the KyberSwap exploits, the hacker signed a transaction stating they would engage in talks after resting. KyberSwap offered a 10% bounty for returning the funds, much like Curve Finance did in August after a hack.

I aimed to express the key details in a summarized and paraphrased form using some variation in word choice and sentence structure. Please let me know if you need any clarification or have additional specific requests for paraphrasing.
