In an extensive blog post, the anonymous developer known as Shytoshi Kusama suggests an enhancement to SHIB that would bring it in line with the original vision of Ryoshi, the nameless creator, for this digital asset inspired by dogs.
“How can SHIB create a truly decentralized and enduring community that thrives in a branded governance, blockchain technology, economy, territory and entertainment environment? Enhanced with cyber resilience, [in real life] prowess, and infused with a vibrant, meme-inspired spirit designed for a billion people?Complicated? Yes. So we’ve narrowed this down to a simple mission statement: How will SHIB save the world?”
To demonstrate to investors that Shiba Inu holds significance beyond its meme status, Shytoshi puts forth the idea of establishing the SHIB Doggy DAO Foundation, which would be responsible for executing the decisions made by the official SHIB DAO and safeguarding its assets.
Shytoshi additionally unveils a redesigned iteration of Shiba Inu’s DAO, which is now divided into four segments, each representing the primary tokens associated with the project: SHIB, BONE, TREAT, and LEASH.
“To ensure that the DAO gives all members of the SHIB community an equal voice, the governance of the entire system will be split into four, one for each core token in the Shiba Inu ecosystem.Each is responsible for governing aspects of the system to ensure that it is persistent. This is not something that happens overnight and is expected to take quite some time to work out.”
Furthermore, Shytoshi discloses that Shiba Inu intends to sponsor the upcoming Blockchain Futurist Conference in Canada, scheduled for August, which will be a platform for unveiling more details about TREAT, the token responsible for overseeing and improving community initiatives, as well as Shibarium, the highly awaited layer-2 scaling solution of the protocol.
“At this location, the completed Worldpaper will be exhibited, all Shib branded projects will be published and TREAT will be published in detail for the first time. In addition, it is very likely that we will also discuss and release the long-awaited layer-2 Shibarium.”
