Scheduled launch date for Shibarium
Following the discussion by Shytoshi Kusama, the enigmatic lead developer of Shiba Inu and Shibarium, with the SHIB community regarding the “launch strategy” for Shibarium, where he confirmed that the date and time have been finalized, there is now anticipation among the community for the Shibarium mainnet to be launched in Toronto, Canada, between August 13-16.
The ETH Toronto event, an annual celebration of Ethereum’s inception, has been identified by the SHIB community as the most likely venue for the launch of Shibarium, given that SHIB was originally launched on the Ethereum blockchain. Hence, the community sees this as a fitting tribute to both Ethereum and Vitalik Buterin. Recently, Kusama left a clue on a Shibarium-dedicated Telegram channel that could provide confirmation on the speculated date and location (August 13-16 in Toronto, Canada) for the Shibarium launch.
Before that, he posted a tweet indicating that Shiba Inu was headed to a location outside of the United States.
News about the burning of SHIB tokens and its impact on price movement.
Shibburn explorer’s records reveal that the SHIB token burn rate has dipped into the negative zone in the last 24 hours, indicating a decline of 32.33% with 52,954,936 units of SHIB meme coins eliminated, locked permanently in dead-end addresses and without the potential of withdrawal or spending.
Burning refers to the permanent removal of coins from the circulating supply with the goal of increasing scarcity. By reducing the overall supply of a coin, there is a greater likelihood of its price increasing when the supply significantly diminishes.
In terms of Shiba’s market performance, it has been making efforts to surpass the price level of $0.00000784. However, it has faced two unsuccessful attempts within the last 24 hours. Currently, SHIB has returned to its initial price level of $0.00000766 and is currently being traded against USDT on the Binance exchange.
