In an important strategic alliance, the Solana Foundation has partnered with Dubai’s DMCC Crypto Centre to strengthen Dubai’s fast-growing Web3 sector. As a recognized global hub for crypto innovation, Dubai is poised to see major growth from this collaboration, as Solana commits to supporting Crypto Centre members and developers in bringing their projects to life through technical and business assistance.
The partnership is welcomed by the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), Dubai’s leading free trade zone and authority on commodities trade under the Dubai government. The alliance complements DMCC’s existing offerings and partnerships, while enhancing members’ ability to build innovative concepts and expand their businesses using the Solana blockchain.
Under the partnership, Solana Foundation will give indispensable technical and business support to DMCC Crypto Centre members. Solana will also extend its grant program to DMCC companies, further enabling collaborative expansion. Notably, Solana Foundation will actively participate in the Crypto Centre’s educational programs for developers and founders, promoting a thriving ecosystem of knowledge sharing.
Importantly, DMCC will actively promote the benefits of building on Solana to the over 550 members of the Crypto Centre, demonstrating its commitment to the partnership.
DMCC Executive Chairman Ahmed Bin Sulayem emphasized the pivotal role of the alliance in providing unmatched support to DMCC members, offering another compelling reason for crypto businesses to join DMCC and leverage Solana’s potential. Solana Foundation Executive Director Dan Albert echoed the natural fit of the collaboration with Dubai’s thriving crypto landscape, expressing enthusiasm about integrating Crypto Centre members into Solana’s ecosystem alongside DMCC.
