The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) has announced an exciting new collaboration with the digital art platform Artchild to introduce a collection of customizable tennis posters called “POSTERS.” This new collection will make its debut at the upcoming season-ending Nitto ATP Finals tournament, taking place November 12-19.
To design the official poster for the event, ATP has enlisted acclaimed Los Angeles-based artist Honor Titus, who is known for blending his artistic talent with his passion for tennis in his internationally exhibited paintings. By portraying tennis through an artistic lens, Titus frequently provides thoughtful commentary on broader themes in society.
What makes this poster collaboration unique is the interactive component that allows tennis fans to put their own creative spin on the official artwork. Through Artchild’s digital canvas and specially curated color palettes, enthusiasts will be able to customize Titus’ Nitto ATP Finals poster design and purchase their own personalized versions as physical prints to be shipped to their homes.
Additionally, each customized poster will come with a corresponding NFT">NFT on the Polygon blockchain, further enhancing the digitally-immersive experience. Select fan-customized posters will also be prominently displayed throughout the tournament’s Pala Alpitour arena in Turin, Italy. The original official poster in Titus’ intended design will only be available alongside its matching NFT during the 2023 Nitto ATP Finals.
As described by ATP’s Director of Communications and Web3, Mark Epps, this campaign is centered on engaging fans and allowing them to feel connected to special moments in tennis history through creative and innovative experiences. It builds upon ATP’s previous NFT collection in collaboration with digital artist Martin Grasser for the 2022 Finals, which incorporated unique match data into the artwork designs.
