Bybit Lists XRP/EUR Pair as Ripple Expands in Asia

The major cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has added a new XRP/EUR trading pair, as announced by XRP">XRP enthusiast Bill Morgan in a recent social media post. Morgan shared an image of Bybit’s announcement, which highlighted that the addition of the XRP/EUR pair will enhance the trading experience for users of the platform. With this new trading pair, traders on Bybit can now easily buy and sell the XRP token directly with euros. Beyond just XRP, Bybit also introduced euro trading pairs for seven other major cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin,Dogecoin,Cardano, USDC">USD Coin, andSolana.

The move comes after a wave of exchanges relisting XRP in the wake of a favorable court ruling on July 13 in the SEC’s case against Ripple. In the weeks after being relisted on oinbase">Coinbase and other exchanges, XRP has seen a surge in trading activity and volume that has exceeded most other top altcoins. Despite recent declines in XRP’s price, a report by Kaiko Research noted that XRP saw much stronger relative trading activity compared to other altcoins amid the summer lull. At the time of writing, XRP was trading slightly down over the past 24 hours to around $0.50.

In other Ripple and XRP-related news, SBI Remit has revealed plans to expand its international remittance services using Ripple’s blockchain solution and the XRP cryptocurrency. SBI Remit, a subsidiary of SBI VC Trade which is the crypto investment arm of Japanese financial giant SBI Holdings, aims to launch Ripple-powered remittances to the Philippines, Vietnam, and Indonesia sequentially starting this month. SBI’s CEO announced the move on social media. The new services will allow money transfers directly to bank accounts in those countries utilizing XRP.
