The Paris Blockchain Week has unveiled the list of nominees for its inaugural Paris Blockchain

The awards ceremony is set to take place on March 23rd, 2023, at the Carrousel du Louvre. To ensure unprecedented transparency in the voting process, e-voting will be conducted via the blockchain-based social network voting platform called parti.com, which runs on the Partisia Blockchain. Anyone can participate in the e-voting process anonymously and securely through tokenized ballots. To explain the innovative technology behind the voting platform, an Ask-Me-Anything (AMA) session is scheduled for Wednesday, February 22nd at 4pm UTC on the Partisia Blockchain Twitter space.

Paris Blockchain Week has announced that nominees for the final two award categories will be revealed during the upcoming Paris Blockchain Week 2023. The People’s Choice Award nominees will be selected from speakers, debates, and workshops during the event, and the winners will be chosen via Zero-Knowledge voting during the summit. Meanwhile, the Jury’s Choice Award nominees and winner will be determined by a closed jury composed of Paris Blockchain Week’s management team and key sponsors. Emmanuel Fenet, CEO of Paris Blockchain Week, expressed excitement about the awards and the impressive list of nominees, highlighting the industry’s potential to offer solutions to global issues and the commitment of organizations and individuals to use blockchain technology for societal advancement. The winners will be announced during the awards ceremony on March 23rd.

 

Brian Gallagher, who co-founded Partisia Blockchain and created the voting Dapp Parti.com, expressed his gratitude for powering the first-ever blockchain-based voting for the Paris Blockchain Week Awards. Gallagher explained that this event is yet another example of how the technology can be applied in practice and scaled for a large number of voters, ensuring secure, transparent, and anonymous voting. The voting Dapp for the Paris Blockchain Awards is now operational, and a demo is available on the Partisia Blockchain YouTube channel. The deadline for submitting ballots is the start of the awards ceremony on March 23rd.

 

Moreover, Paris Blockchain Week will hold a special “Ask me Anything” session on February 22nd at 17:00 CET (16:00 UTC), which will take place on Partisia Blockchain’s Twitter account (@partisiampc). The session will allow individuals to ask questions to the blockchain voting infrastructure team.
